I had gone today to withdraw some cash from my HDFC Bank in Sion and there I saw a “Mobile Parking Van” by Godfrey Philips named as “Smoking Lounge“. I was really speechless at that point. The interiors of the Van were really good. Cosy , comfortable and really a great place to chill out minus the smoke. But I would never have imagined such an advertising gimmick. Come on “Mobile Smoking Lounge” ? Feel like smoking then hop in have a smoke and ride ? Does it sound appealing to you. It doesn’t to me atleast.

What’s next I wouldn’t be surprised at all if I find “Mobile Beer Lounge“. Hey Kingfisher , Bagpiper are you taking notes here?. It might be more useful for people who get drunk and often land up on streets. Atleast this initiative will provide them a means to reach their house safely.
